5 Levels of Strategy Implementation
There is a big difference in the level of sophistication of the strategic process of companies. Having been involved in the strategic process, ranging from startups to public companies for two decades, I have a perspective on which level to strive for in corporate strategy and implementation.
Strategy in the eye of the storm
The ongoing crisis and the uncertainty we have experienced in recent weeks, remind me of my experience from the Icelandic banking crisis in 2008. I took on the role as a Managing Director of one of Iceland’s leading Investment Management units the day after a total collapse of the Icelandic banking system as well as a wipe out of the local equity market and severe damage to the corporate bond market.
